See what others are saying about 16 Inch Rims| the misconception of having a "healthy tan" | | this is a huge oxymoron, a healthy tan. there is no such thing. If your skin color changes from tanning, it means you have damaged your skin. I had a friend who went to prom with a 16 Inch scar on her back from getting lymph nodes removed after getting skin cancer from tanning beds..Spray tan looks nice if you dont want to be pale. I have never tanned and ive never ever laid out on a beach for hours and hours. Everything should be in moderation. yes vitamin d from the sun is great and necessary, but all it takes is a 15-30 minute walk to receive the daily recommended amount. Please be safe everyone. It's not worth it to get cancer so you can look brown, think about it. | |
| | Dell Studio 15 vs Dell XPS 15 vs Dell Studio XPS 16 | | I'm currently thinking of getting a laptop or a desktop. For laptop, I'm actually looking at few companies such as Dell, HP and Acer (cheap). HP laptops are known to be quite expensive. I recently looked at the 15 or 16 inch multimedia laptop but the one we have in my country came with the Blu-ray drive, which really adds up to the price. As for Acer, it's good but I don't have many friends who are using it. Furthermore, they do have quite limited choice for 15 - 16 inch laptops. Thus, I plan to look more into Dell. The new Dell Studio 15 looks pretty interesting with the WLED display. I'm not very sure whether they have fixed the HDMI problem which is faced by the previous Studio 15 users. XPS 15 on the other hand, is pretty cheap right now. The specs for the new Studio 15 is actually better than this old XPS 15. I think there will be a new XPS 15 coming out soon. Dell Studio XPS 16 on the other hand, looks very nice but there are several complaints about the heat and also the poor build quality. What do you think? Have you used any of the 3? Or you have any other recommendations when it comes to laptops with display size of 15 to 16 inch. 17 is way too expensive for... | |

| | We are having pizza for dinner | | Today I went grocery shopping at Wal-mart. In their deli section they have pizzas. You take them home and bake them yourself. I think it was a good deal. It is a 16 inch meat lovers pizza 1 pound of meat on it for 9.00. This is much cheaper than delivery. Anyone else ever try wal-marts pizzas? | |

get down from the chair by keeping your left leg down first and then your right leg.......

| | ebay | | A few months ago, I listed a 16-inch, mint in the box, figure of Hitler on Ebay. It is a part of a historical doll collection, there was a lot of interest within the first 5 hours that it was posted. I started with an opening bid of 0 dollars and the bidding quickly went to 55.00. Well, Ebay pulled my listing. They stated that it was "offensive" and "hateful". Now, this really angered me because, at the time that I listed the doll, there were over 2000 items listed under "Hitler". I looked futher for "offensive" listings and found hundreds of listings for the KKK, items with the word n*gg*r, homosexuality, etc. Anything that I could think of that might be considered offensive by someone. Ebay wouldn't even hear my case. Do you think this was fair? | |
| | Do You Ever Find It Hard To Imagine....???? | | My discussion about what type movie you would like to be in and enact the lifestyle spurred this idea. I had mentioned in one response to a replier how my grandmother grew up during the Roaring Twenties and to be in "fashion" of course wore those flapper type dresses, which must have been considered pretty risque since not too many years prior women wore dresses still to the floor in length...now all of a sudden women wore flapper type dresses that showed...gasps..their legs. Women no longer wore their hair long, but cut in a short "bob". I was told that my grandmother used to frequent speak-easys since it was Prohibition and alcohol was banned so the only way one could drink was to go to these speakeasys which were illegal of course..if you've seen old time movies these places were always raided. It got me thinking of my ancestors in general, and I guess I come from a pretty "interesting" background..LOLMy great-grandmother must have also been the rebellious type--yes, she grew up a very strict and devote Catholic...YET...the story was told that as a younger woman, and during her courtship years was a Gay Gibson model as she had a mere 16 inch waist..The story was... | |
