| | WalMart Deal | | Well in the past 2 weeks I had 2 fans die on me. Today one broke and I had it tore apart trying to fix it but the motor was burnt out. It was over 10 years old after all. Well dad then asked me how much they cost. I said about $20 and he hands me $40 saying go get a good fan from WalMart then. I never turn down freebies even from dad. Hee hee hee. So I fouind these 20 inch 3-speed fans on sale at WalMart. $10 each. So I bought two. Just in time as tomorrow it is going to be hot and humid once again. My a/c will be on with the fan helping circulate the cool air into the office and bedrooms. I only have a window a/c in the living room. Do you use fans with your a/c to circulate air? Or do you have central air? Do you use just fans? Or is it cold as heck where you are?

| | three- dimensional tvs!!!! | | I have been hearing alot about three dimensional TV sets for quite a while now. its seems like everytime i look on one of my gadget sites, some big company or small company or small compnay that promises that it will be big has some television set or monitor that can achieve what every geek wants: 3d images.
the latest development is a 20-inch LCD from philips. viewers would see stunning 3D commericials based on 3D animations and video.
it looks as if Philips intends to use its product for point-of-sale advertising. in other words something to attrast customers attention. it seems like a waste dont you think?
i mean everyone wants 3d viewing. if the technology is there let us use it. the problem is, our current systems of filming is set up for 2-D. im not certain how this will work without 3D glasses but hey what do you guys and girls think? | |

i have been racing for the last year and the thing i love is that you dont necessarily have to be able to jump to be ok/good at it. it is also a lot of fun and socialising at club nights is great.i ride a 20 inch dk and although its not a great bike its ok for me as a beginner. im looking to upgrade soon to someting a bit more expensive and a bit lighter.i would love to give 4-cross a go also but i dont have a bike and there are no real tracks near me - only downhill tracks that are a bit extreme. | |

| | Hey everyone......I'm BAAAAAACK!! | | I've missed you all so much too! Hubby and I went to Fry's to get the new computer on Saturday. I swear I've never been in and out of that place so fast in my life! We headed straight to the computer section, was promptly greeted by a sales person, and within about 10 minutes, we had the tower, monitor, a new printer, and an awesome surge protector in the cart and paid for! Of course, it took til today to get the internet back up and running. Hubby hooked everything up when we got home Saturday, but the internet wouldn't come on. So I called tech support this morning, and he was asking me what was hooked up on the 2 Wire modem, and I told him that I had to have hubby look at everything and call them back since I'm not the least bit mechanically inclined. LOL! So I got to looking at everything, and my son happened to be up by then, and we both figured out that hubby had forgotten to hook up one of the phone cords to the 2 Wire. So we hooked it up and voila! INTERNET! Now I have to brag on my awesome computer. The tower is an HP Pavillion, with something like 5gb of memory, and the monitor is a 20 inch flatscreen made my LG.
