I have a desktop and a laptop in my home and I like desktop the most as in desktop I can sit properly and view it in my 22 inch lcd screen.I like to play games the most and it is best in desktop pc as in laptop it gets hot very early so I prefer desktop the most.And movie is also best seen in desktop.I think still desktop is the best.What about you? | |

| I'm having trouble with my new computer monitor. | | I purchased a 22 inch Soyo monitor from geeks.com. It has built in speakers. It did not come with an installation CD. I hooked it up but I can not get any sound. My microphone works through the speakers but any no audio from the internet. Does anyone know what I might be able to do to fix this problem? I have been searching online for installation hardware/software to no avail. I know I should call the company but I hate to be put on hold and it usually takes quite a bit of time on the phone so I thought I would post here to find an easier solution. Any help would be great! | |
| | what is the size of the your computer screen now? | | mine is a 17inch screen and i think it is big enough for me. i think most are using 19inch and i had a friend who is using a 21 or 22 inch samsung screen and it was really giganti for a cpu. i also find it difficult to move around as the screen is so huge to me. how about you? what are u using now? | |

| what accessories do you add to your PC? | | most of us has a computer in our homes, except for those who rents to surf online and do mylotting. some has a laptop,notebook or a desktop pc. some people like me are who are semi geeky with technology, i try to fill in all the gaps in my pc. adding a 2.1 speakers (with a subwoofer), a 4 port usb hub, a webcam, an additional mouse that is wireless ( i do not know why i got another one)and headset. and i am still thinking of changing my crt monitor to a 22 inch flat lcd monitor. am i the only one or are there anyone who is a lot geeky than me. as for the others, do you really care? | |

| Unusual fruit and veg, the weird and the not so wonderful | | Our world is so 'small' these days that even 'weird' fruits or veg aren't really 'unusual' any more ... I really did struggle to find 'unusual' fruits or veg .. Stinging nettles .. once picked (best to wear some thick gloves) and cooked in boiling water .. this delicious 'vegetable' tastes very much like spinach .. and yes I have tried it too Dandelion ... excellent slightly peppery flavour and a good substitute for Rocket ... I always add them to my salads .. I pick just the young sweeter leaves from the middle of the plant Cuitlacoche (kweet-lah-KOH-chay) - Mexican Corn Truffle .. you would need to go to Mexico to get fresh Huitlacoche (alt. sp.).. but it can be bought in tins too .. it's a black fungus that grows on corn causing it to swell up to 10 times its size .. a rare delicacy .. supposedly Cardoons .. 18 to 22 inch long, pale green to white stalks ribbed like celery .. eaten either raw as an antipasto .. or cook for 20 minutes and eat as you would an artichoke Cherimoya .. a mouthwatering sweet .. creamy fruit organically grown in New Zealand .. combining the exotic flavours of pineapple, papaya, passionfruit, banana, mango and lemon into one... | |
| | Ford Concept Car Based On Mustang | | Ford Motor Co. will introduce a 4-door, V-8 concept car at the Detroit auto show based on the popular Ford Mustang sports car, the company says."The Interceptor concept is a sedan, but with the heart and soul of a performance car," North American strategic design director Freeman Thomas said in a statement.The 400-horsepower, six-speed manual car, with a low roofline and massive 22-inch wheels, is similar in design and spirit to Chrysler's popular Dodge Charger sedan, but carries most of the Mustang's mechanical underpinnings, CNN reported.The car's four bucket seats have four-point seatbelts that go over both shoulders. The rear seatbelts inflate in the event of a crash to minimize belt-related injuries.The car is designed to run on either gasoline or an E85 ethanol blend.Like the Mustang, the Interceptor is rear-wheel drive with a solid rear axle. | |
