See what others are saying about 24 inch Rims| Got an IMAC | | I got a new IMAC and I must say I love it. I can't believe how simple and beautiful this Mac works. It's just plug in and go. I have boot camp so now I can run Windows on my other monitor for work. Our office looks crazy with the four screens. We opted for the 24 inch as it is the perfect size for our desks. I use my old keyboard though, the Mac one is way to small for my big fingers. I like that everything is right in front of me, and searching for things is easy. Easy is the key for me. Haven't had one problem yet, and it didn't hurt that I got it on sale, plus a discount. What is your preference? PC or Mac?Share your experiences. | |
| | Getting our house evaluated | | After a four month delay, numerous phone calls, and bugs by our doctor, we are getting our house evaluated to see if it can be made handicapped ready. I know that we need a ramp, but we might also need the door to our bathroom enlarged and will have to know if there is wires on both sides. We will also need hand rails in the bathtub, and a power chair that can go along a 24 inch hall way and also go outside.
I really do not want to move to a senior's apartment nor does my husband even though he acts as if it might be good, but our house is small as it is, and the area where the senior houses are are not where one can get good bargains food wise.
The prices at the grocery stores there are quite high and besides we have our friends here who will help us.

You don't need to run and just to walk for an hour is ok in your parttime,especially in the mornoing .Be carefull:first,your eyes must overlook some plcae far away from you when you walking. Second,it is the pace.It is important to know the distance between your front foot and your back foot when walking .So,please measure the size of one of your feet. Then make the size multiplied by 1.5, and you will get the date for per step walking distance of yourself's .For example, i have a 24-inch foot . 24 multiplied by 1.5 is 36 . so i should walk at a 36-inch distance or pace per step.

| | I've got the luckiest daughter!! | | I can't believe the luck of this girl...For the 4th of July we went down to spend time with my mom. At the fireworks show there was a raffle. I didn't know anything about it. My mom had taken the kids over to the water play area, and I was resting. A lady with a clipboard came up and asked if I had any children ages 7 to 10 with me who would like a chance at winning a prize. I said sure why not. So I signed her up. Then I hunted my mom down to let her know Lex needed to be by the stage at the right time. On the way back from the water land, my mom and her walked behind the stage where they saw two brand new bikes. A man standing there said they were the raffle and she could enter, it was free. My mom thought about what I had said, and almost dropped another raffle in for...you know, tweaking the odds for her. But she thought a lesson could be learned. So she told Lex she should pray. She also let her know that sometimes the answer is no, but that you can never expect your prayers to be answered with a yes if you never ask them. So they bothe said a little prayer, then off they went. Just before the raffle started, we all decided an icecream would be nice. Luck doesn't run to think... | |
