Mr Clean is a GENIUS!
Mr Clean is an absolute genius! ...in my opinion. I love the Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I use them daily...I have one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I use them to clean the floors once a week because my husbands work boots scuff up the floors, its the only thing that will get the marks off...its crazy! I use them to wipe down the walls and cabinets and to clean my fridge out monthly and do dishes daily. I usually buy mine at Sams Club in bulk because we go through them so much. The kids love to clean with them too....cause they are magic..lol. Has anyone tried the ones for the car wheels? I have recently and they work wonderfully. Anyone else use them? Im sure there are TONS of people who do. They should have a frequent user card, like some stores do, to earn free Mr Clean products.....hmmm, maybe I will send them an email......(((going to mrclean.com)))
My garden
I have a front lawn and a car parks opposite it meaning that some drivers get their car wheels going over my grass. The lady should park in the car park where all the other residents park. I wonder if I should protect my front garden with a hedge, fence or rocks. What would you do if people drove over your lawn and ruined the grass?
car engine
Have you ever opened the hood of your car and wondered what was going on in there? A car engine can look like a big confusing jumble of metal, tubes and wires to the uninitiated.Photo courtesy DaimlerChrysler 2003 Jeep® Grand Cherokee EngineYou might want to know what's going on simply out of curiosity. Or perhaps you are buying a new car, and you hear things like "3.0 liter V-6" and "dual overhead cams" and "tuned port fuel injection." What does all of that mean?If you have ever wondered about this kind of stuff, then read on -- In this article, we'll discuss the basic idea behind an engine and then go into detail about how all the pieces fit together, what can go wrong and how to increase performance. The purpose of a gasoline car engine is to convert gasoline into motion so that your car can move. Currently the easiest way to create motion from gasoline is to burn the gasoline inside an engine. Therefore, a car engine is an internal combustion engine -- combustion takes place internally. Two things to note: * There are different kinds of internal combustion engines. Diesel engines are one form and gas turbine engines are another. See also the articles...
Things no one Told Me
1. That once you have a child, you enter the secret "parent club." When you walk down a street, or into a library, or push a cart through the grocery store, all with your child in tow, other parents smile, nod, and say hello. 2. That with an inquisitive child, wandering through Home Depot can become an afternoon's entertainment. Hannah always has to remind me, however, "Mom, slow down...don't walk so fast...we're just looking around..." 3. That no mater how much you tell yourself before your child is home that you won't take them to McDonalds, you will. 4. That even though you defend your McDonald's visits by saying, "we hardly ever go," you still end up throwing away gazillions of kids meal toys. 5. That as a parent, you become a receptacle for gum wrappers, sticks, pebbles, toy car wheels, and broken doll arms. Your child hands you everything that needs to be thrown away or protected until you both get home. 6. That airports are full of places to play with a child. You can walk down corridors skipping every other floor tile, race each other up different escalators, and race-walk in the passageway next to the trains. 7. That going out the door without kid...
Richard Feynman(continued)
Due to the top secret nature of the work, Los Alamos was isolated; in his own words, "There wasn't anything to do there". Bored, Feynman claims he indulged his curiosity by learning to pick the combination locks on cabinets and desks used to secure papers. Feynman played many jokes on colleagues; in one case he found the combination to a locked filing cabinet by trying the numbers a physicist would use (it was 27-18-28 after the base of natural logarithms, e=2.71828...), and found that the three filing cabinets in which a colleague kept a comprehensive set of atomic bomb research notes (for his convenience while selecting material for declassification) all had the same combination. He left a series of mischievous notes as a prank, which initially spooked his colleague into thinking a spy or saboteur had actually gained access to atomic bomb secrets. (Coincidentally, Feynman once borrowed the car of physicist Klaus Fuchs in order to visit his sick wife. Fuchs was later discovered to be a spy for the Soviets.) On another occasion, he noted that a captain in his building at...
