| Do you like 4X4 off road driving? | | I have a Toyota 4X4 pickup. Sometimes I like to join my dad to go driving Off Road in the jungle. It is really fun because it is different from usual driving in tarmac road. The difficult part is when we get stuck in the mud. Have you drove Off Road? Where did you do it? Did you liked it? | |
| | The Rules of the Road Off Road? | | Friday I was nearly run over and maimed or killed by a woman who was quite negligent in her operation of the scooter she was riding in Wal*Mart!! I couldn't believe that, despite my best efforts to dodge her, this woman seemed intent on running me down! She had no regard whatsoever for the rules of the road and just drove willy nilly all over the place with no care for the safety of others.Has something similar ever happened to you? Are you more likely to run down someone in the grocery store, or to be run down by someone? Do you follow the rules of the road when you are shopping (by walking or driving one of those scooters on a certain side of the aisle) or do you regard the aisles as a free for all time in which others need to beware of your actions and take care to protect themselves?

| atv and off road trouble in Ky | | here around home and other places the government is stopping people from off road riding, taking our trails we have used for years,(before they was used for old logging roads, and old dirt road used to get from on place to the next)and they are saying they are now protected, due to fresh water streams and natural forest land.We just got fined for being on natural forest land when we totally advoided the natural forest parts,we stayed off the forest marked Natural Forest. So now everyone is forced to go to places where the riding is all gravel with lil' road mud holes to drive through. So sad.Have you been in this trouble yet.If you haven't it will come.It has here around my home. And the sad part of it is, we own along side much of the protected places they wont let us on. | |

| | What kind of Jeep do you have? | | Also what have you done to it? What do you use it for? Do you 4 wheel it?I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 with the 318 V-8, automatic transmission, power moon roof, power door locks, power brakes, power steering, A/C, 4 wheel disc brakes and leather. I have added an Aussie locker locking rear differential to my D44A. I also have a Rough Country 4 inch lift and 31 inch General Tire Adventuro Mud Terrians ready to go on it as soon as I find the time to get them on it.I use mine as a family 4X4 hitting all the local trails here in western washington. I am planning on adding a lot of different things to it to make it a better off road machine. | |

| Our Garmin took us on "The Trail" | | This past weekend, we went to Colonial Williamsburg, it's about a 3 1/2 hour drive for us. We weren't exactly sure where we were going so of course we took the Garmin to lead us.Now, we drive most of the way without any help from the Garmin, but after a while we were at it's mercy. When it said to turn, we had to have faith that we were headed in the right direction. Well, at one point it said "Turn left onto the trail" and we all kinda freaked a bit. We weren't sure exactly what "the trail" was and we were hoping to not be driving down some dilapitated dirt road. As we were driving, I did double check and make sure we had the "No off road" part checked. As it turned out, the name of the street was "The Trail". We were so relieved - even though it was a back road, it was still a real road! | |
| | Cool shot of 4 wheeling. | | I got this shot yesterday of my buddy playing by the lake. I thought it was a cool shot. I was thinking of submitting it to a 4 wheeler magazine. What do you think of the shot? | |
