| | Getting free parts to your car with minimal effort?! | | Well, my buddy gave me the link for this site. I've been entering in car shows for about 8 years now, with my minimum wage job, its getting harder to afford parts in this economy. Well, recently, my friend got a free new exhaust system, exactly what he chose to order. It took him about 15 minutes total online, all he did was do one of these offers on here. I just did one, but unfortunately my part takes more than just me doing it, I need referals. SO i'm asking for your help. This great site can get you performance parts for your car, or replacement parts, or a nice set of wheels! The link is: http://www.MyFreeMods.com/index.php?referral=648
Some offers don't require much, please sign up and help! thanks!
| | Barack Obama's new car ''the Beast'' | | Barack Obama's new car is nick named ''The Beast'' due to its amazing features, although the car is officially called ''Cadillac One'',its a black limousine.
Its called the beast because of the safety modifications provided in the car for the president.Cadillac limo made its debut on January 20th. I'll list down the special modifications of the limousine:1.Armour-plated doors that are eight inches thick, each weighing the same as a cabin door on a Boeing 757 airliner.2.The boot contains an independent oxygen supply and advanced fire-fighting system.3.Defense systems include pump-action shotguns, night-vision cameras and tear-gas cannons. Supplies of the President's blood will also be kept on board in case he needs emergency medical treatment.4.The petrol tank is armour-plated, while also being filled with specially designed foam to prevent it from exploding if the armour is penetrated.5.Tyres on the limousine are Kevlar-reinforced, puncture- and shred-resistant, with special steel rims that allow the car to continue driving even if the tyre is missing.6.The bodywork is made up of a combination of dual-hardness steel, aluminum, titanium and...
| | One Hundred Dollars A Plate! | | Way back in the seventies, when I was working in the city full time, I was talked into purchasing a set of 'fine china.' The salesman was quite aggressive, I was very young, and well ... I made monthly payments on this china for several years. It is Bavarian china from Germany, and the pattern is called 'Bouquet.' The pieces all have platinum rims.A number of years ago, my (late) husband and myself, were at a home show. Much to our surprise my china was on display, and available for purchase. We decided to have the place setting appraised. We found out that 'each dinner plate' was worth $100.00. They had definitely gone up in value. My husband didn't think they should ever be used.[em]lol[/em] He was so worried about them getting broken. Each year at Christmas, when we have our family dinner, we use these plates. So far, so good, as we haven't had any accidents (yet.)Do you have any treasured items such as this? Are there any that you only use on certain occasions? They don't have to be that expensive, but anything that you take out each year, to add meaning to your celebration? | |
| | Tire Sealant | | I have seen people use Slime in tires, but have hear complaints about it gumming up the rims. The link below is to an article about using Stans Solution which is a sealant used a lot in the cycling world. Has anyone tried this or other solutions and had luck with them? I would be curious to see what experiances people have had, sounds like a good way to save some cash on tires. http://goosecreekcycle.blogspot.com/2008/11/stans-in-my-car.htmlo you have any treasured items such as this? Are there any that you only use on certain occasions? They don't have to be that expensive, but anything that you take out each year, to add meaning to your celebration? | |
